Default I need new cats..

So i have this loud knocking noise. I thought it was something serious but i am now 90% sure its one or both of my cats. Since i have been contemplating LT's for a while now...no better time than the present to get em and wrap up the exhaust all at once. I currently have 2.25 true duals. I saw Moregrips thread with his exhaust and high flow cats. Is that the best way to go while im replacing them? Any other reccomendations appreciated...

I am kinda puzzled why they would go out with only 60K miles. My only real guess is that my tune is rich to be conservative..My truck runs good but does use an excess amount of fuel...so thats my take.. Thanks guys...

GM covers converters under a 8 year 80,000 mile warranty, if you want new converters just go have them put on. Its free.

Well ill be dropping it off next week to get it looked at. If they do it with no problems ill be that much closer to the long tubes. I was figuring a few hundred for cats. Wish me luck..
