Cam timing and ignition timing are two completely different things.

Might want to consider some rod bolts also spinning that high.

At 6600rpm its pulling about 45lb of air through the MAF. From there to 7300 it really doesnt increase anymore.

Just went and got some pizza and loged my Blazer and it pulls a whopping 23lbs of air at 5000rpms. What a difference.
Curious, 45 lbs of air NA? Or is that with the dry shot?

That was 45lb of air N/A. I know it seems about 10lb high to me too. I havent had anything in my bottle for over a year now thanks to suck *** Maine. I guess its pulling a **** ton of air spinning that high. Just out of curiousity i took my Blazer out and ran it and only logged 23# of air. That figure seems about right for it , but the truck i dont know.

Maybe with a 5.7-6.0 and T-rex, but not a H/C 5.3.

FWIW, I'm down in MA (cold weather here too, but not as bad as up there.)

I got 42lb/min at 6,000 (my max RPM), the other night...

I saw a little over 47 pounds peak last year. Most of the time it was 45-46 range peak.
