I am sure that will be a good choice but with a bigger converter like stated above. tune it and you wont be dissapointed.

 

I've got a 230/224 cam and a TB stall that hits around 2800 and its just barely cutting it w/ my Z71. It works just fine for everyday driving but when you get on it you can tell there is this lag off the line that a higher stall would fix.

 

mmmmm, well im sure once i get the cam in ill blow my tranny anyways , so when i go back with a 65E ill throw in the bigger converter
