Default how to reach 14's

I would like to eventually hit the mid/high 14 second area. I have just bought a magnaflow muffler, and i plan to either buy an intake kit or just fab up my own ram air set up. after that Ill be getting ordering a wait4me tune. that will be all my mods till i rebuild my bank account, but out of curiousity:
a)what times / dyno #'s could i expect from those small mods
b) what more will i need to reach about a 14.7 ish....daily driver so nothing that will wear out my truck and nothing that will crush my gas mileage.

With mods in my sig, 3.23 gears on a 100 shot my truck ran 14.65 on the dyno. Just to kind of give you an idea

any idea what you run without the nitrous? i am not looking for nitrous, turbo, super chargers. just trying to keep it simple, i heard a high 14 shouldnt be too hard to reach

With cam, shorty headers, Volant intake, cat-back exhaust, 3.73 gears, posi-trac (LSD), custom dyno tune making close to 340hp on 31.7" tires I could do no better than 15.08 in 78* weather.
Good luck

times in sig before e-fans or 4:10 posi. with an extended cab, i would imagine with the same mods & 4:10 gears, you would have a high 14.

Who can say for sure-go to the track and let's see. I would bet not without a tire and gear swap but that doesnt mean it's not possible.

Reconsider the juice. Does not effect daily driveing. cheap simple meets or exceeds your goals. A 100 shot won't hurt anything but the other guys feelings.

If you still are scared, get some m/t drag radials255/50/16 and a yank tt3000 and a tune. The yank and tires 'll get ya movin. the short tires will help your gear problem . Hope this helps.
