Anyone have a number of quarts in a fluid and filter change on a 4L60E w/ 4x4 pan? I am thinking around 7 qts or so...

Thanks!

should be 5 quarts exactly, it will say in your owners manual, correct me if i'm wrong. Why did you change the filter? i've only changed a few trans filters on 4L60s cause cocking with that filter O ring will only make problems. And trans filters are only called filters cause we have called them that for so long, they are a screen that justs keeps metal filings out of the vavle body. When you turn you car off all the fluid backflushs through the screen into the pan and any metal parts go into the pan.

Well I haven't changed anything yet. I need a fluid change, not badly but it is time to do so.
