Ok, after I get the motor built and bugs worked out i'm actually considering running nitrous with the Whipple. I have an extra intake manifold and plan to maybe plumb it for a direct port setup. What would be a safe shot to spray on this-
6.0 with diamond pistons
ARP rod bolts
ARP head studs
ARP main studs
Whipple at 10-12 pounds boost
What do you think?? 50,75,100, more???
May be a while before I add the nitrous but would like some opinions on it.

parish went with 100hp on his whipple on like 9psi didn't he? if you're running forged pistons and good rod bolts you might even be able to get away with more than that with a proper tune.

 

Parish blasted a FLP transmission like that too.

Randy, you ought to be able to spray 100 or 125 with no problem. I was spraying 75 on my stock bottom end and stock transmission and never had any problems. The way i was spraying mine was i pulled off the elbow that bolts to the intake and drilled and tapped it and put my nozzle there. Good luck with it.
