Default How much gain adding LS1 cam in 5.3L

Hello fellow motor nuts n bolt ons . I was wondering if some of You that have transplanted a LS1 cam into a 1999-2004 5.3L can tell me how much gain I can expect . I am in the middle of converting this engine into my 79' El Camino .My engine is stock with the exception that I have ported the exhaust ports from 1.28" by 1.5" to 1.4" by 1.6" . And the intake side I ground and sanded just enough to smooth out the castings and polished both . Also I have a set of Doug Thorley ceramic coated shorties and I will fabricate my own y using 3" tubing where they meet all the way back to a single in/ dual out muffler for now. Any input will be greatly appreciated . Thanx sincerely ,
Christopher Frost
