Question FAST intake

I am kicking around the idea of getting a FAST 92mm intake. Is the gains worth it for the price tag?

Also what all would have to be changed to make it work on the 5.3?

Any input good or bad is welcome.

on your truck? Hell no. That's way too much money to put into an intake when you don't even have a cam or heads.

I would install it with the heads and cam that I am going to put in.

if you do it do the LSXRT,but I think there are way more beneficial mods you can do for the price tag of one of those, like a good quality higher stall converter,or some tranny mods, long tube headers, hell for the $2000 it might take to get everthing to do this you could be on your way to running some boost!!!

Oh okay, yeah I will pass on that.

I do not think that I will be doing boost, at least at this moment. I have a higher stall converter, long tube headers back, tune, some transmission work.

I have a set of heads that I have sitting in my shed and I am getting the itch to put them onto my 5.3, they were bought for a LQ build that I was going to do. I am working on getting the cam that I will be happy with, for the 5.3.

Like I told ya mo, all you need is the TB and a relocation bracket, f bod or late model WP.. If you decide not to get it, no bigie brother.. But you do heads cam, ect, it will be much better then stock
