How much faster is a 05'SS than an 03'SS?

Yeah the torque management definitely holds back these trucks. I recently had Allen at Nelson Performance pull out the rest of my TQM and my truck pulls like mad now.

The SS tow rating is somewhere around 7,500lbs. It's hard to find in the manual, but there is a little note, or a very small SS section...

TM is pretty agressive on the shifts, but I leave most of mine in for normal driving. I have Tow/Haul set for the performance stuff...

WOT timing is probably the biggest killer on these trucks. Once you start modding the intake/exhaust, and you're pulling more air through the motor, you could be looking at SINGLE DIGIT numbers for timing on the top of first gear... and the mid to higher teens for 2nd through 3rd.
