if you need to plug to egr hole on the intake manifold use a rubber pipe plug. i did but i think they did away with egr after 00 or something.

and drone has nothing to do with the headers just the muffler, and where its dumped.

 

I have to disagree. I didnt have the drone without headers and had it with the headers. Changed the muffler out and still had the drone and went back to stock and no drone. Its definitely the headers.

 

haha well i've been wrong before. i didnt notice any MORE drone when i put mine on. god i hated my old flowmasters, i hade them piped all the way out the back and i had considerable drone. but i've only been making it worse since then. But It's not my daily anymore and i like it loud

colekill you probably didnt notice much drone because you put cats on. Running just the headers and ORY is where the drone is at. So I guess its not exactly the headers but the cats that make the difference in the drone.
