how loud with new headers..

Default how loud with new headers..

say 1 is stock and 10 is as loud as possible.. and right now i would say with the cats and 50 series its about a 3.5. how loud would u say it would be with the lts and ory..

also what can i use to close the egr hole.

one more question, since me and my bro are always competing against one another i lost to him last time, i was at his back bumper.. i was just wondering if the lts and ory tuned would put me again, incase.. u kno, we wanna throw down some green on it.

My headers are almost as quiet as stock at idel. Once it gets about 1600rpm they get louder than they would be with a muffler or catback. They are also lounder at WOT.

But you probably loose some sound quality also ( or at least I did) you can hear a lot more noise up front and they just dont sound as smooth as stock headers.

For the egr blockoff, you can buy a block off kit or just get a small piece of 3/16 or 1/4 inch flat steel, then mark your holes, drill them, then cut out where you need to.

thanks, i just put in the pcm that was retuned. i dont feel anything yet.. put i havent put on more than 5 miles. i told him to remove 50 percent tm and turn off abuse mode.. i tried to do a burn out and it was the same as stock.

LTs really can make that much of a difference even with a 50 series? Cuz I kinda wanna keep my cats.. unless I can get em deleted outta the PCM with my tune with an HP Tuners. But I will either run true dual.. maybe a 40 or straight pipe still, but will the headers really make that much of a noticeable difference?

The difference in longtubes is gonna be mostly felt above 3k RPMS
