How do you guys launch your trucks???

I find much quicker launch's with only a small brake stand (idles at 500 rpm..brake it to only 700-800 rpm) with Chevy...as you floor the throttle the the computer controlled throttle blades and timing start coming back since theres no speed indicated for that much throttle input- these trucks arent like moms buick wagon with a 455 in it and a Q-jet-LOL- with Westers tune and my tow/haul loaded for bear my truck LOVES drag racing in T/H mode-BJ

Mine was .3 sec slower when I let the computer shift. Before N2O

I am planning a converter for the truck but first i was to buy the shift kit and other stuff to make the tranny last a little longer and make it stronger. Thanks for all the info.

On my Cuzin 03 5.3 Silverado we stalled it to 2000rpms and let off...no tire spin what so ever...might of been the new tires and new road were we did it at
