Hey guys, how can the daytime running lights be disabled on a 2002 Silverado LS? Anyone got a link to a tech article or procedure for this? TIA.

On my 2000, you can hit the dome override button 4 times, then it will chime and the auto headlight and daytime running lights will be disabled. Then the headlight switch will work like a regular on/off switch. It will reset every time you turn off the ignition. There is a company called R&D that makes and overide relay for this, but it's like $85 <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> .

That's for the "Twilight Sentinel" feature. The auto headlights. Mine only takes twice to shut them off.
To disable the DRL's, simply pull the fuse on GM trucks.
