I'm thinking about building drone tubes for my SRT8 Jeep-- I put an aftermarket exhaust system on it and the drone at 2k RPM is pretty bad. BUT I WAS WONDERING, if I used glasspack mufflers as the drone pipe itself, will it still work? Will the sound be dramatically different? Thanks!

 

Based on the premise of how 1/4 wave attenuation works, using a glass pack would reduce the amplitude of the cancelation wave thus minimizing the effect.
