i took the safe route, no gt2's. just put in an order for some perilli scorpion zeros, 285/65/16. they are about 1" shorter than stock and should be about 1" wider than stock. hope to goto the track on next saturday and try and cut a 1.5 60'.

i also have 2 band new spare tires on steel wheels, 265/75/16 firestones that i am going to torch at a burn out contest on the 3rd of july.

I personally just put a set of 255/65/16 Kumho Ecsta STXs on my truck. Mainly because they only cost $84 each and had high reviews on Tire Rack. So far the Kumhos have been great, no loss of traction and great in the rain.
I have had the khumos on my truck. Dont get them. I could spin them through second N/A. I tried spraying with them in first gear and almost hit the wall at the track. I learned from that. I only sprayed in second gear and still ran a 13.60. I now have Nitto extreme drag radials on the back. 245/50/r16. I love these tires. Some people say that they wear down to quick but i have had them for 3 months and they havent wore down that much. It maybe beacuse i have only been to the track once with them.
