Default Hooker AeroChamber

I have been debating this for awhile now, and decided to get it today. I have had the 3"/dual 2.5" Magnaflow for sometime, and while I like it and it does flow great, I wanted to try something different. So I went down and grabbed one of the Hooker AeroChambers with the same 3/2.5 setup as the Magnaflow and stopped by the good 'ole Midas shop and $30 later I was back on the road. When I fired it up the sound wasn't magnaflow, it was more of a deep growl. not too loud, but deeper. The SOTP feel after 5mins was there, especially mid-upper rpms, with zero loss down low. The truck doesn't seem to pull harder, it does pull harder. The sound level isn't louder than the Mag, but different and deeper. Interior sound is a little more than the Mag, but not drony (is drony a word) and no rasp, even without the cats. i like it.

BTW - i finally got around to ordering HPT tonight, hopefully it will be in 1st of next week. will also be calling Yank in a couple of weeks for the verter. so i will prolly be full of questions for you HPT gurus.

I've been telling people these mufflers are WAY WAY underrated. I absolutely love mine.

I used to run a Flowmaster 40 orginal but the interior resonence was killing me in the mornings on my way home from work (yes I'm a night shift guy)..so I got rid of the flowmaster 40 and dropped a JBA cat-back in w/a magnaflow muffler...I like the sound and the interior racked is definitely not as bad with the magnaflow, but now I'm back to wanting more of an aggresive sound...I can't win.
