The Aerochamber is not a straight-thru design. If you want straight-thru get their Aeroflow or Maxflow muffler (I can't remember the name). I had one on my '02 with the 4.8. It was a wicked loud muffler. I did pick up some in-cab resonance with it, but I have sensitive ears.

Glad I could be so influential.

I actually did those because lots of people were asking about them.

There isn't any drone, but you can hear it when you're gettin on it part throttle.

I got true duals and no cats though.

it's pretty much a straight through 'chambered' design. this one was a single in-dual out and i could see through it from both ends.

My AeroChamber is a straight-Thru design. When I got it I was worried about it being too loud because it was a straight-thru design but it sounds great. The interior resonance is minimal at cruising speed, no where near the resonance I had with a 2 chamber 40 series flowmaster. In my opinion this is an excellent muffler.

[QUOTE=three83]My AeroChamber is a straight-Thru design. [QUOTE]

Maybe the design recently changed? The Maxflow I could see thru and the Aerochamber I could not. I had both in my garage at one time. I have no doubt the Aerochamber only makes the one small turn and is no where as restrictive as a Flowmaster chambered muffler. The quality of the Hooker mufflers is excellent as well. I would not hesitate to buy one of these.

They are straight thru. Atleast the 2 I have seen and the one on my truck are.

I just got mine in the mail and can see straight through them. No problem, even with a single inlet dual outlet.
