Hooker AeroChamber
#21
nativetexan had one for sale on here and i just sealed the deal with him, it's 3in. center inlet/outlet. i can't wait to put it on when i go home in may. it will be set up single dumped b/f the axle, but if i go along with my tr220 route i'll do long tubes with cats, x-pipe, and true duals to let the cam exhale.

Come monday, I'll have my pacesetter longtubes and y-pipe, with the hooker muffler. If I only had a way to record the sound now for you guys. I kinda curious.
I'm tired of flowmaster for the fact that everyone runs a flowmaster in town, now. I cant handle being like everyone else in town, running around with a 40 original series dumped before rear cab in town.

Thats Why i got the areochamber also everyone has flows. It sounds awsome and my friends tell me that it is teh best sounding system they have heard in a long time. They say they like how it is so deep and quit at idle but screams at WOT. I know i love it.

I've had Aerochambers....I liked them except for the mid-rpm drone (which was EXACTLY where I'd cruise on the highway)
I'm more than happy with my 22" dual-in/out Magnaflow...nice and quite at cruising rpm's and just wonderful sounding at WOT

I went to the trakc tonite and made several passes with the cut outs open. I closed them off for one run and the times were about the same. That tells me they are really free flowing.

I really do have to say I like the difference in sound. 5.3_rcstepside was right about it screaming at WOT. I turned a few heads and was still asked if I ran duals on the truck, lol. I really do like the way it sounds except for the small exhaust leak. I should've had it fixed at the muffler shop, but they wont touch anything usually if it has no cats. I was just lucky for them to install my muffler for me. Good quiet@idle. No flowmaster ring which was getting annoying imo.
