Default Hooker AeroChamber

I just a Hooker AeroChamber installed on my 05 Silverado. Had local exhaust shop run single 3 inch pipe from Y pipe out of factory location. At idle you can't even hear it and it sounds great during acceleration. It's much better than the 40 Series Flowmaster with single 3 inch pipe that I had on my 00 Silverado.

The exhaust shop is only a couple blocks from where I work so I really didn't get to test out the ole seat of the pants meter. I'll try it out on the way home from work.

I ordered my aero-chamber last week. Did you get a single in/dual out, or just single in/out. Mines a 3" single in/out

I think the Hooker mufflers are underrated. I used the max-flows and the aero chambers before and liked them both. The max-flows were a little loud, but not too bad.

I put a pair of aerochambers on my 79 c5 jimmy, and i was challenged to more races than i could count. most everybody swore it had a big block due to the sound. too bad it was a 305 with a 2barrel. i absolutely loved the sound, and may have to consider it for my burb.
