Default hey yello, or other LD2500 guys

do you happen to know if your truck has the same frame as a 1500? i got a 2500front diferential and right off the bat a can tell you it is about 2" wider wich i think will be a problem, wondering if i can just get all the font end parts from a truck like yours and then it will bolt on?

As far as I know it's the same frame as a 1500...all the lowering components are the same as the 1/2 ton and the front end is the smaller of the two 3/4 ton diffs (there's an 8.5" and 9.5" front end I think...I might be a little off on those but there are two different ones for the 3/4 tons)
I can take a pic of the Diff if you want me to......

Well, my pro-comp lift was the same for 1500HD, 2500, 2500HD, all of the 3/4 ton 8-lug trucks, including differential mounts, i don't know if that'll help any though.

Nope........a 2500HD frame is WAY different. The 1500HD and 2500 are the same. The 1500 is a different animal to.

Can anyone take pics of a 2500 LD 4l80E crossmember? Preferrably 2WD RCLB.

Here is a picture of the crossmember in a 1500HD. It's the same as the 2500 models. The 1500HD IS a 2500 model made for people that don't want a "3/4 ton" truck.

XLR---hmmm, I'm guessing that's a 2WD. Wonder if it would really be necessary to get that crossmember for the swap?

as easy as it is to bolt on to the frame I would get it....even if you have to drill some new holes in the frame to mount it.......it looks ALOT beafier than the 1/2 ton crossmember that parish8 modified

That's what I was thinking. The tranny that I'm looking at is a 2WD tranny, so maybe they'll have the crossmember off of that truck too.

I'm going to run by the dealership tomorrow and start gathering some part numbers for everyone!
