I think the bore size advantage goes to the 5.3L over the 6.0L. A smaller bore tends to have better detonation control which is good in FI. The 6.0L advantage is just physical displacement, bigger is better.

KB is amazing at fabricating and to my knowledge he does his own tuning. Tuning can cut down 1-2 seconds depending how good you are and being able to fabricate stuff can save you $1000's
The problem with WJ is that he has a great setup, it's just his best time is a 13.7 not a 12.5. Granted his DA is way up there but 1.2 seconds is still a big difference.

Running at sea level compared to 8000' DA can make up a LOT of time. I know it doesn't affect turbos as much as NA but, it is still quite a bit. This part is kinda getting side tracked from the original post though.
Slow - Where are you located because altitude plays a role in your track times too.

density altitude, its all the weather factors that hurt your et combined together and when your time is corrected using the DA, you get a possible best at sea level

Basically a measure of your height above sea level based on your actual altitude and weather conditions. The higher the
DA the worse it is for your times because it means there is less oxygen in the air.
