Default Help me decide what stall to get for my TQ

I will be running a ATI procharger and I am trying to decide what stall I should use.
2600, 2800, or 3000?
During the summer I pull 4200lb boat with a 1200lb trailer I don't think that a 3000 would pull it out of the water on a steep slick ramp or if it did you would stall at 3000 all the way up the ramp no low end. Am I right or did I miss something?
Help me out guys

He's not right. You could easily pull a boat up a ramp with a 3000 stall. It may rev to 2700 or so, but what's wrong with that?

I'd say go with the 3000 with an ATI.

The higher the stall, the more heat it will geneate. Even more so when you are pulling a load. It wont affect it on the highway while it is locked up, but when you a pulling from a stop or at low speed it will generate more heat. Even a 2600 will do the same, but the 3000 more so. I dont think you would have a serious problem pulling up the boat ramp too bad, but it would need more throttle to get it moving.

the 3000 should pull it like a bat out of hell. IMO better than the stock, but like said will make more heat. 2800 or 3000 i vote

6th vote for the 3000

my dads truck acts real well pullin a 18' bassboat out the ramp
with a tci2600
coulda went alot more on the stall IMO

also it seems like the 3000 would be a better match for the procharger
as a whole
