Me to I think that the 3000 stall would be better for the ATI but we have a 23ft. boat that weighs 4200lbs and then on top of that the trailer is another 1200lbs. and that is all unloaded. So I am just not sure if the truck could pull 5400lbs out of the water up a steep slick boat ramp and not tear up the tranny.

the stock or 2600 would be fine if all you do is pull the boat
and the way I understand it the procharger loves rpm
so around 3200 or more if you never pulled

I think the happy medium would be the 3000

speed or towing
cant have both

but I guess thats all up to you and what you want out of the truck

I personally dont think the 3000 is that aggressive
but I dont have that kinda power either
or tow for that matter

So the way I understand it, more torque = higher actual stall than what's rated. With my setup, I restalled to 3k for the bigger turbo, but Zippy warned me about increasing traction problems.

On the 6.0L / GT67 at 7.5/10psi I loved the 2600 stall.

Sounds like you're a little freaked about the 3000 stall. You'll like the 2600, but I'll bet you'll end up wanting just a little more.

You will get the 2600 and wish you would have gone higher. I got a TCI 3000 and its awesome. Now if I could just figure out why the vss isnt working then I would be set.

Get a trailblaser converter and get a converter shop to oper it up it will be around 2800 to 3000 and it will still be a nice size not 10 or 10.5 in.If I rember right they are 12" I think it would be the best all around.

Got my tranny all figured out now and it works great. The 3000 isnt too much in my opion it will probably drop 1mpg but it keeps the engine sounding good thorugh all the shifts till it locks up then its just like a normal tranny. If I had to do it all over again I would get a 3000 again. Just my .02

I agree
my 3000 acts stock untill you floor it
then it lives up to its name

may act a little more aggressive with power

when I first drove it
I was expecting for it to be too loose
but it wasnt
stalling it up off the line I cant hit 3000
but once I let off the brake 3000 is there almost instantly
hitting it from 10-20 is where I feel it the most

but comparing it to a 2600 I think I woulda been left
wanting more

but......
I dont have a 6.0 procharger awd or pull a boat
so it may be more aggressive in your case

sure would be hell with that procharger and ...unhooked
