all are up, rotat the cam as you pull it out, you can get ruff with it after you get enough out for a better grip.

damn guess i should not have taken off for gift cards. thought you had it.
i guess by now you have already installed the new cam.
if the cam is still out, look inside and follow the oil holes too see if they line up on the bearings?

i think the problem is with snakeaters truck i put the cam in mine and it spun free as could bebut now it won't idle so i got to figure this out

I had a similar problem, could not get the rod through the oil gallery holes to hold the lifters up, so I went to the auto parts store and bought those pocket magnets. Use them to hold the lifters up while you take the cam out. That way you know all the lifters are out of the way. Unless you have x-ray glasses, you will learn a whole new language trying to fight it.

cam is out and in my truck. now i just have to tune it.
