My build was 11 to 1, 243 heads with Ls6 springs, the BTR stage 2 low lift cam, TBSS intake with flex fuel injectors and a stock gold blade throttle body. You don't really want to spin the tires at all in a AWD but given the right surface it would come unglued and on a wet road it would spin them while rolling.

if its wet or if I roll into a turn it will get all over the road spinning. But it would do that a little stock. Maybe I was just too optimistic. Only reason I'm not doubting the valve train set up is because my boss help me set it up and I have 0 issues with it. Been in business 40+ years. I just think it would be alot more obvious show stopper problem if it were trying to hold valves open. Runs and drives smooth as the cam will let it be lol. I was really just sure someone was gonna say it's the converter. (My hunch) but I have no supporting info to back it up Great information tho and your build sounds sick!

Getting the Torque to your tires is just math, even with that low first gear your 4.88 rear end and the 3200 stall should get you moving with out a bog out the hole. Not sure about smoking the tires but there has got to be a problem with your stall and or tune combination preventing this from happening. I talked to someone who has a similar combination but with 4.56 gears and he said he can barely break the tires loose but it can lurch from a dead stop no problem.

it has not. I feel it has improved but still won't spin from a dead stop. More than likely a tuning issue as I learn more with HPT the more I realize I do not like the way my truck runs and drives. Now that the weathers cold it's even surging and dieing occasionally

cold start/cold engine surges and stalls may be intake gaskets. Might be worth smoke checking a cold motor or carb cleaner testing a freshly started, yet cold motor
