In short, it’s the converter.

My truck on 37’s had a similar converter(60E) and it launched pretty hard in 4wd. Swapped to a 10.5” 3600 converter and it went from just launching hard to being nearly uncontrollable and spinning the tires in 4wd.

Ok give this a try. If you can trim down the data log channels to just the ones needed for engine tuning. also take away the mas airflow channel and add in cylinder airmass please.

An 80E in a Tahoe and big wheels are not a great combination.

While I think you can improve on the tune you have now, it is never going to be a tire fryer.

I would address your PE settings, the factory methodology of using TPS is not a good indicator of load in heavy Tahoe. Also remove the RPM delay.

There is negative timing in your high load/low RPM table.

Your torque management settings are stock.

A stable idle begins with correcting the airflow models (MAF and VE) and then setting the IAC steps. Otherwise there is not enough range to control it.

what brand of converter. My only thing about a larger converter is this is the only truck I have at the moment that can tow heavy. /34' camper-22'carhauler loaded/ have you towed with yours? I do plan on getting a HD flatbed in the future

My guess is probably some torque management limiting the torque output when you hammer on it. TQ management and abuse routines will both kick in and cut the timing if not addressed correctly.
I posted the tune and log file of you want to check it out. To my knowledge I have all tq management deleted. Also my tires actual measurement is 36.5 /13.25. It's a metic 37/13.50. I've changes setups. Big diffrance from 31 to 37

PE stands for power enrichment.
It means when you get to a certain throttle level it dumps more fuel in.
