Default heater core question

Quick question -- for anyone that's ever changed a heater core in Silverado trucks, does the replacement part make a difference whether or not the vehicle is equipped with a floor console (RPO code D07)?

Some of the aftermarket manufacturers, like Spectra, offer different heater cores as a replacement based on if that RPO code is present. My 2000 Silverado 2500 is equipped with the console. Whereas other manufacturers like Delphi do not make a distinction and I only see one part offered.

The Delphi is cheaper so I would just assume buy that replacement part, but seeing the Spectra options has me worried that I will end up ordering something I will have to try to send back....

For anyone that knows, what would be different about the console setup that would require a different core?

Thanks in advance!

GM only lists that one part number for all variants in 2000. I will say that you get what you pay for on heater cores and radiators so I wouldn't buy the cheapest option if you dont want to risk doing it again a year down the road. The cheaper cores typically have thinner aluminum and crummy seals where the pipes meet the body/tank. ACDelco is the OEM manufacturer but in all fairness I haven't handled any of the Delphi cores so they could be of good quality.
