Our 2003 Yukon has what seems to be 4 different sets of white front lights.
1) DRL's, below the lows and highs when looking at the truck
2) Lows (9006's, right?)
3) Highs (9005's, right?)
4) Fogs (no idea what rating)
I have a two part question, can I put 9005's in the low beams without absolutely blinding traffic? I've done it before on other cars (just have to modify the base a little bit) and it was perfect.
Also, is there an easy headlight / wiring mod that will let ALL FOUR of these sets stay on when the brights are on? Right now my 'flash to pass' enables the brights with lows briefly, but when you click the stem to full brights the fogs and lows go off.
I'd love to have just a little bit more light on these dark country roads around here...

the 9005s wont fit in the low beam spot...the opening isn't big enough...or maybe it's the other way around....maybe it's to big....i don't remember but it wont work.

Gray,
I hear from some diesel guys that the new wiring kits work great. www.kennedydiesel.com sells them, very high quality product.
