Default Headers or Converter

Cheap Headers (because my wife is cost prohibitive) or a Circle D 2800-3200 stall is about the same money. Which will I feel the most SOTP difference with? I also have a 210/218 crane cam going in soon. I know the headers installation might be easier but install of either is not a real factor. Give me your opinions and help spend the money. Both at the same time is not an option but, both will be in eventually. Thanks Ray

Converter; it will be no contest, especially after you add the cam.

As mentioned, you will feel the most gains from the converter...which Vinci 210/218 did you go with, the Asp-Kicker? (210/218 .551/.551 112). You won't need a whole lot of converter for that cam btw, I drove tdrumm's 5.3 with that cam both with and without converter, and it worked well either way. Obviously it was night and day better with the converter, but the truck wasn't a dog without the converter by any means. He had a tight 3k converter (Yank TT3000), but you could also use something along the lines of a 2600 or 2800 if you wanted to. The 2800 will be more fun than the 2600, and the 3000 will be more fun than the 2800...
