no salt....I would run the pacesetter's they perform just as well as any other header for these trucks, and fitment is great! Just get some good band clamps for the y pipe and you will be good to roll...

I would never weld anything to headers! Just get some good band clamps and they will seal just fine!

Yah you would def be SOL if you had to remove the trans, or even take the headers off.. They certainly wouldn't go in or out if they were welded to the Y.. Get some good clamps. Bad part wit hthe PSrs is that the lap joint clamps don't work worth a **** on them, due to the o2 bungs being so far back, they are in the way of the clamps.. I would get the LPPs...Or I can get ya a deal on Stainless works

If you decide to go with the coated Pacesetters, just have 'em coated by a reputable shop that coats 'em inside and out. You'd probably be just as pleased with them as stainless considering where you live. Good luck!

it sounds like everyone is leaning a bit twords the LPPs... they certainly do look real nice, like i mentioned, they seem to have a real nice collector. I sure do hate the way stainless steel headers look after they get discollored though... but i suppose thats not the worst problem to have.
