Default header options

So here are the two sets of headers that are in my price range. But i have questions.

The LPP's are stainless... but what about those pacesetters? They look like stainless steel but there is no discription that i can find.

Im sure there are plenty of people who have experience with these pacesetters.

My next question is, what does everyone think about both of these options? I found a set of AEM Coated Brute Forces for like $800 and i though maybe i should save the extra $300 and get those instead, they look like a nicer set of headers.... opinions people?

feel free to show me any other set of nice LT's BTW

The pacesetter's are coated...the LPP's are stainless depending on where you live (how harsh the winter is) salt and all, I would go with the LPP's they are very very nice for the money!
I have the pacesetter's and they fit very nice but the Michigan winter has taken a toll on them already and they are only 6 months old or so.
If it's not a DD and no salt to worry about then the pace's should be sufficient

well i live in AZ... so there will NEVER be salt. and the winters are obviosly the mildest in the country!

do youthink they perform the same? I sure like the look or the collector on those LPPs... but i kinda want coated headers to cut down on engine heat.

im sure others will give their input but i just installed stainless obx headers and y-pipe which im really happy with, only thing id recommend is welding the y-pipe together once you get it on, the band clamp seemed to do nothing. which ever you choose they are all going to perform about the same.

one of my friends put pacesetters on his focus SVT and he complained a lot about them, which is what prompted these questions

$15 more for stainless headers seems like a no-brainer to me...

i suppose, except ceramic coated headers reduce scavanging, discolor less, and keep overall engine heat down.... which is why i am wondering why people would choose stainless over ceramic coated? unless, like it was mentioned previously, you lived somewhere with a lot of salt on the roads which can do harm to the coated headers

I lean twords ceramic coated because of the heat issues and discoloring... but i am asking an honest question so please keep giving me feedback
