I used my stock bolts and no problems 1 year later and used GM gaskets.

Reuse your factory gasket. I did on mine it came apart into 3 pieces but when you put the bolts through it and tighten the header down its fine and no leaks. I ahve take teh header/manifold off 3 times and reused the same gasket all three times and it has 168,000 miles on it. I reused the factory botls too and no problems with that either.

Your going to need a 1/4 to 3/8 drive torque wrench.
11 ft lbs 1st pass ,then 18 ft lbs on final pass. That means......not a whole lot! Aluminum.....Aluminum.....Aluminum!!!!

Those Stage 8's are a nightmare. Id say about 30 minutes after you fart around with the first lock, youll be throwing the rest across your garage!!!!

If you want some good locking bolts that aren't a pain to install, get these:

http://www.go-breslin.com

I've got them on my Av and they're a great product. They aren't cheap but sometimes you get what you pay for.
