Default head gasket??

Ok going to be getting the head and bolt kit shortly. I will be getting the 5.7 head and bolt kit, my question is, are the gaskets the same thickness??

I will be takeing the heads today today to be milled another .020 for a total of .033 off.

Are these 5.7 heads? If so I would get a gasket with that bore, you can get them in a bunch of thicknesses. Stock GM mls are .054, and so are the Fel-pro replacements. Cometic makes them in multiple thicknesses (.040 and .045 seem to be the most common), and will even make one in whatever custom thickness you want.

I have cometic .054 gaskets so if I ever do blow a head gasket I can get a stocker 6L and drop it in to get me by.
