Please post here, and give specifics as to what broke. Also post your 1/4 mile times, tire size, and 60'. Just want to gather some information.

Haven't broken anything...yet. I was just going to make a thread about doing a 14-bolt swap. I searched and I found that we can use an '01+ HD 14-bolt but have to get custom hubs?
The swap could get a little pricey....
What's a matter Scream? You getting scared?

I grenaded a G80 but as far as the rear end (gears, axles, housings, etc), it has worked great now that there is an Eaton Posi instead of the crap stock locker. I blew it up at thunder last year where the pass before I lauched on 26x10.50 ET streets to a 1.7x short time and 12.8x 1/4.

I have a feeling the 14bolt swap is going to be a hot topic around here

it would be easier just to use a 9.5 14 bolt. axles should be more available for that.

No, I'm just trying to see if this frail, eggshell 10-bolt is grenading on people. I just don't see the need for a 14-bolt.

What about the brakes? Mounting it? What is the measurements on the 9.5" unit? Are they wider/narrower than the 8.625 10-bolt that we have now?
