2 tires, I had one roll over on it's side with 1 tire because it was just resting on the pan.

just get a trash tire from a tire place. you can probably get if for next to nothing. beats the time you take to be cutting and hammering away, not to mention the work. and take a garbage bag and duct tape as someone wlse said in case it rains.

If you want to wait till the morning. I have my 4.8 sitting in a pallet at work and I'll take some measurements for you tomorrow morning, let me know if you have time.

I want to thank you guys for all the good ideas. jhe2003 thank you for the offer of help. I appreciate it, but I got it. Two saw cuts and a dozen screws and I'm ready. I just went wide on the rails and I'll let the block sit wherever it wants to. Thanks again.

when i moved buddies lt1. old tire. and dog leash. and we didnt have any hoist either. we used a floor creeper to get it to my truck. an old wood table to rest it to while 4 of us lifted it by the exhaust and then heaved once more into the bed. with no straps we had a dog leash. it had a spring damper on it so it even had play while we drove on some nasty pot hole streets.
