Default H2 Radix Dragstrip Results

Oh Yeah, Baby...

Went To Pacific Raceway today for a little 50 degree sunshine with a mild breeze test and tune session. I'm completely satisfied with the results.

Run #1 (w/ passenger) and slight brake stalling gave me the following-
60 ft: 2.237 1/8 mile: 9.671 @ 72.04 mph 1/4 mile: 15.208 @ 86.80 mph

Run #2 (w/o passenger) and a little more brake stalling gave me this-
60 ft: 2.193 1/8 mile: 9.571 @ 72.85 mph 1/4 mile: 15.058 @ 87.52 mph

I knew that LPE advertised 15.2's with their basic supercharger kit. I honestly figured they probably massaged a few other items to get that result. I expected to do 15.4's or there about. As it turns out, I'm knocking on 14's already.

I am only running the basic radix kit with the included tuning. As previously stated it is making about 5 psi as soon as I stomp the pedal and 6.5 psi most of the way through the rpm band. It hits 7 psi right at the shift point. It is a 3.1 pulley. I also have the Magnaflow catback. I still have my stock air filter, too.

The only weight I've taken out of the vehicle is the spare tire, jack, and the mount for both items which total about 140 lbs. I also took off the roof racks for another 25 lb loss. As the Radix weighs about 80 lbs (estimated) for the kit, my H2 is clearly not a light weight vehicle (6400 lb curb weight is published).

This kit rocks

A friend just stopped over to get the disk of several NW members runs from today. He'll post them up tonight I'll bet. I'll link when I get it.

I have no doubt the truck has a 14 in it right now. Thing that bugs me is a 14.9x in 50 degree weather is still 15's in warm weather. My goal is reliable 14.5. But to get there I need to build the transmission, toss in a heavy duty trailblazer torque converter, and take out the TM. My electric fans should arrive soon and that will help too.

Cory

I'll weight the truck soon. I'll have to drive down to the dump to do it.

The stock tire holder is inside the truck and takes up 1/3 of the hatch area. It will never be back inside the truck. Eventually I'll pay the $500 bucks to buy the outside rack so I can take it along on trips. A 34.5 inch tall spare sucks anywhere you put it. Even the outside rack kind of obscures vision.
