Edelbrock rails, Edelbrock FPR, 4bbl TB

These rails only work with the taller LS1 style injectors.

Im sure they work you just need small spacers if anything. I cant be totally positive but thats what I was told by other peeps when i bought this set-up.

I thought it was worth it over a stock intake, primarily to combat the lean #7 issue that seems to be common with the stock style intakes.

I do not think that the Edelbrock rails will work with the truck injectors without some work. The truck injectors are shorter than the LS1 style injectors, so you would have to modify the fuel rail brackets to move them closer to the manifold. I'm not sure that it's as easy as re-drilling them because they are wider at the top than at the bottom.

As far as other parts, you can get parts that will adapt your factory steel fuel line to AN style. Summit has them, and I'm sure other places do also. I scrapped the entire factory steel line setup and went to all -8AN for the feed line, but it was really overkill. I've heard that the stock fuel lines will support close to 1000hp.

Thanks Thunder... So other then doing the fuel line swap from the old lines to the new rails, that is it, give and take some modding on the fuel rails, having to tap int the back of the mani for vac-boost-exc lines..
As far as tuning this set up, it should start up and run decent, idle, drive(easy driving) I would imagine a tune would be needed for the added flow ect?

Tune would be good. I was expecting a loss of low-end torque, but I did not experience that.

That is some better news. I was under the imp from reading about it that the low end while not in boost would be worse... This could happen. BUT I wish we could get some solid results on the new edie intake..

What has to be done for the DBW can it still be used?? Or does a cable need to be added??

a throttle body elbow from intakeelbows dot com. I am pretty sure you can get one to use your stock throttle body( i got the one to use the ls2 90mm one tho)

Hope this helps,
Jed

I run the edel rails, with 60lb injectors.
"intakeelbows" can make an elbow for the stock tb flange.
you need tube to -an adapters to convert factory hard line to -an line. I recommend earl's fittings.
I didn't need a fpr as my system is still returnless.
I deleted all of the evap stuff so no worry there.
the intake elbow should have a pad in the back where you can add vacuum ports (map sensor, ect.). The power brakes vacuum hose can be run to the port in the intake runner. Other than that its pretty simple. I really can't give solid advise on low-end power as my combo was pretty much built at one time.
