Smile Guys with milled heads get in here

Those with milled heads on a 5.3 what length pushrods are you guys running and how much milling did you have done?

.045 mill and 7.35" pushrods.

I was told that with the 220/220 cam raising the comprestion ratio to 10 to 1 by milling .030 would help me see beter gains. I could still run on pump gas right? what pushrod should I use if I milled them .030?

anyone for sure how much you have to mill the 5.3l heads for a 10 to 1 ratio?

well generally speaking, if you have a cam and are using 7.425 push rods, and then you mill the heads .25 then stock push rods could be used, if stock cam then minus the length that you mill the heads. hope this helps and if i'm wrong then someone will correct me I hope ahaaha.

I used to have .030 milled with a 224/228 cam and 7.400 push rods. ran great
