Default Guys with 370's

You guys with 370s....
What is your gas mileage?
I got my eye on a built 370, and if everything goes right... ill be gettin it. Oh and the STS is goin to remain...

I have 3.42s and 29" tires.... with the 5.3 ive been gettin 20-21 on the interstate and bout 16ish in town..

Im sure it depends on cam and stuff..
but just wondering what you guys are getting..

This aint a race truck... its a DD and should have a lil pep in its step... just the way gas prices are... i really dont want to put this in there and watch my mileage hit the bottom..

Got to do some lookin to see if my stock 5.3 heads are goin to work and keep the compression in check.

I dont have a clue about cams.... just goin to relay the message of what i would like..
Not power crazy either... ill turn the boost up when the time comes...

Thanks guys!!!!

Hey u should check with Julien (spoolin) he has a 370 with his sts(GT67) and he's only gettin about 8 miles a gallon, so i dont think that would work as a DD... good luck with it tho keep us posted if u get it or not

yep a FLT LVL 5 80e at that

and it a STS GT76 that he has, also he has other problems and his 370/STS combo is fully ironed out yet so i wouldnt doubt that he gets 12-15mpg when done

370 or stock LQ4 with ARP bolts????
I hate spending money...
As much time and thought the 370 has in it... its hard to pass up that kind of deal..
But ill have to get a cam and heads.....
Heads are still questionable...

Stock LQ4 would be the easy way out.. Im not lookin for all out power..
That 370 is kindof over kill for what im tryin to get + being a DD.......

I cant make my mind up....

Help.........
