Cool, is it a 1 ton truck, or a medium duty. I seem to remember soemone asking about OBS engine mounts for the 8.1 but that was for a 2001 or 2002 truck, didnt realize it went back to 2000.

I went back and deleted some of my posts to cleanup this thread.

According to GM, the 5.3 is 355HP/383TQ, just in case that may have been missed. I can't find any more info on their website, as it seems they've only released data on the 5.3L.

Well i heard from a friend that works at a chevy dealership that said the new 6.2 will make 415 HP, 440-450 Ft. Lbs. Tq. But thats just a rumor he heard but, doesnt sound to far off.

Way better than the 200/260HP that I had in my 99 Classic (I just call it a 98 to make it easier)!

Nice, I'm glad to see they are following through quite well on bumping up the grunt. Hopefully the 6.2 numbers and EPA figures are released soon. On a similar note, when the hell are we going to be given the specs on the Corvette?
