Why didnt you install a cam while you had the motor out it would have been SOOOO easy.

I know, I did in my last one, and then sold it to Dewmanshu. I need this truck to run great EVERYDAY, and really don't want to start eating transmissions. I love driving this truck too much to not drive it everyday. I know a mild cam wouldn't have really affected drivability too much, if tuned properly, but I don't want the lope or anything. I figure that a cam and springs and stuff would run me around $700 or more, and long tubes another $1300 for the one's I want, I just didn't want to spend the money either. We'll see what the future brings, maybe I'll grow a set.

212/218 would be the ticket IMO and they can be had for cheap in the sale section all the time along with LS6 springs brand new are only 90 bucks on ebay all the time. 250 you could ahve a nice cam and spring set. Im guessin you want the dynatechs. I have them but if the pacesetters would have been out when I bought mine I would have bought them. For 300 bucks you cant beat em, if they rust out buy some more you can buy 4 sets before you would be able to justify the dynatechs.

I had the 212/218 in the 6.0 that I sold Dewey, and that's the cam he was talking about in his above post. What can I say, I'm a knucklehead. I have a feeling that before it's over I'll be putting a cam in. I'm just unsure as to how far I want to go. I'd like to run some solid 13's with no nitrous, and I know that I will need more than what I got now.
