Default grill block mod = cheap power

have any of you guys tryed the grill block mod???? it's cheap and easy to make only $10 bucks....works well on my truck....it makes the truck more aerodynamic and will give you more mph in the 1/4 mile.....it helped me run 99mph in the 1/4 mile with a stock motor trans and rear no headers or a programmer and (no nitrous) 5000 pound race weight with me in the truck.........if your into cheap mods like me this is one you should try......

I've actually thought about this, but I can't. I need the air on the intercooler. In fact ... I wish I could move that HUGE bowtie from the middle of the grill, but all the aftermarket grill's are 'inserts' so they just snap onto the already existing grill.

Duct tape would work! That's what Nascar uses for it.

i dont have any pictures to show but they are very easy to make.....i made mine out of clear plexiglass they go on the inside of the grill and held in place with wire ties.....when the hood is closed you cant see them ....trace out your grill with cardbord then transfer to plexiglass cut out with a jigsaw....real easy to do time well spent

you could still do this just leave the area around the intercooler open cover the rest......in the summer this is a track only mod but in the winter when its cold out you can use it on the street

Yeah I am wondering the same thing, I mean I can kinda see how it would help, but not enough to make a difference. Doesnt the air still push against the front of the truck? And does this just make it where it doesnt let it go into the engine compartment? If so, how many tenths or MPH did you pick up h777?
