Cammin, tell the NASCAR engineers who have had hours upon hours of wind tunnel testing, they don't know what their talking about. This mod obviously isn't for everyone, but those who can should benefit from it pretty good.

For comparison, a car running a 12.6 will trap in the 115-118 range. A truck running that will trap 106-109. That is largely due to aerodynamics, or a serious lack there of in the trucks.

As for the on his times ... He's legit. He's got my respect. He's got one of the freakiest HEMI"s I've ever heard of. There's another guy on here with a HEMI, drop in filter and Flow50 tat ran a 14.99 last weekend. They got some trong trucks, no way around it. Some are obviously stronger / quicker than others, same way as ours.

h777 - Good idea. I definitely see it helping the Dodge and F250/350 people. I'll fab something up for mine over the winter - I have some scrap plexi already.

What other mods helped you get that 13.7/99 pass?

mods for the 13.71 run.......tmr mod, it lowered my 1/4 mile times by 4 tenths in the 1/4 mile....very good mod and it was free.....homemade cold air intake $20 bucks, spring clamps $10, removed the catalytic converter and stock muffler for the track,$10 for parts....removed swaybar free, 2 inch lowering shackles $50 bucks, grill blocks $10 bucks,....... a few other free mods i do for the track.....remove air filter, run 60 pounds of air in the front tires, let the motor cool off all the way my truck runs better when the motor is cold, take 7 pounds of air out of the rear stock tires

now i have a programmer and a few more mods my truck should run over 100mph in the 1/4 mile (without the nitrous) this weekend i will be at the track and i will run with and without the nitrous.....i should go 13.5s on motor

I was thinking about running without a swaybar, I hear it helps you hook better and reduces some weight, but its kinda pointless with a peg-leg, LOL

removing the swaybar will also help on a peg-leg....also spring clamps will help with traction and they are only $10 bucks......buy removing the swaybar your front end will raise higher planting more weight on the back tires even if you have a peg-leg......

have any of you guys tryed the grill block mod???? it's cheap and easy to make only $10 bucks....works well on my truck....it makes the truck more aerodynamic and will give you more mph in the 1/4 mile.....it helped me run 99mph in the 1/4 mile with a stock motor trans and rear no headers or a programmer and (no nitrous) 5000 pound race weight with me in the truck.........if your into cheap mods like me this is one you should try......

Right there...... quote you " it helped my run 99mph in the 1/4 mile with a stock motor, trans, rearend, no hears, or programmer, and no nitrous." thats what you said.....
