Well, I've had both models (reg and C version, cold air) and I do think they're worth it. I sold my GMS-C when I got the Predator because it let's you adjust the timing. When I had my GMS-C, I also had an HPP, I ran NO HPP tuning and the GMS-C. The truck ran best this way, better than HPP tuning and the GMS, better than HPP tuning with the stock maf. A cheaper version might be a factory descreened Z06 maf, I got one brand new off of E-bay for $95. It'll be here Monday and I'll give a report then. There's another one on E-bay and I've seen this guy selling them before, I think he's dealer and sells alot on E-bay. Just something for you to think about, hope this helps.

I have one and would say it's the least effective mod. Only buy it for cheap and after you've done the proven upgrades like headers, exhaust, etc.
Now if only my headers would get here I could take my own advice.

I read somthing about that it just tricks the computer into thinking its getting a differant reading off the sensor..
Because you really arnt getting anymore air through it.. but it tricks the computer into giveing you more fuel..

There is some other electronic device, that tricks the TPS into thinking its at 100% throttle when you're only like at 70%.. I think thats the HPP3.. but you really arnt getting anymore power out of it..
