To wire them independently:

2-30amp relays (~$4.00ea)
2-GOOD switches (~$4.00ea , not the cheap plastic ones)
2-10g inline fuses with 25 amp fuses in them
10' 10g wire (for fans)
10 to 20' 18g wire(for switches)
connectors

This is how I ran mine:
-ground from each fan to bolt on your subframe connector (the crossbar under your stock fan)
-hot to relay, relay to fuse to battery
-there should be a diagram on the relay package to show how to wire the switch in.
-if you want one or both to come on when the truck is on, instead of wiring the switch to the hot side of the relay, wire it to a "hot when ingition is on" wire.

So with that setup, both of your fans come on when the truck is on? If so, that is probably what I am looking for. Also, what is a thermo switch, what does it do, and do I need one?

Also, I found this web page, web page should I get the 170 degree thermo switch and the 30 amp a/c relay, or can I just find these at Pep Boys?

I have one of mine running on ignition. The other is when I want it on. I plan on getting a thermo switch to run both of them, but I will still keep them accessable with switches in the cab. You can get all the stuff on my list at Pepboys or Autozone. The thermo switch is a switch that will turn the fan(s) on at a desired temp setting(like 180*). You should be able to order from either Pepboys or somewhere like that or Summitt Racing.

fast4.8 is right on the money.
i got my thermo switch at autozone adjustable from 90-220
you can also get your ingnition hot lead from the fuse block. i used the slot that powers the rear defrost relay found with test light or if your standing on drivers side looking down at fuse block its in the right rear, and used the red main bus box for the relay power
