2-3 SHIFT at 5200rpm @ WOT is to low.

 

i think my 2-3 is around 6500

 

Where does it shift with the tow/haul on?

 

Is the Nelson Tune better than the Pcmforless tune? How much Torque management have yall had removed after having the pcm tuned?

 

I usually set my 2-3 shift like a 100rpm under my 1-2. Not that it really matters but....

 

ya know this is weird i run alot in tow haul .t/h is when im shifting alot in the 5200 range which seems opposite than factory tune .when im not in tow haul is when i sometimes get 5800 out of 1stgear buthe rest are 5200 rpm this just doesnt work right im shifting into 3 at 84 mph or so at 5200 but it isnt even anywre near done climbing my cam isnt that big 216/220 550 114 lsa but its still pulling strong at 5200 it hasnt flattened out at all yet .if i manually shift it holds 6000 rpm just fine .im putting on a supercharger in 2 weeks so i have to get a new tune any way .do you guys think i should get it straighend out before i put on the s/c or wait till i get the s/c on and do it all at once ?

 

Don't use the Tow Hual. I don't think he tunes the tow hual button for race mode unless you ask.
