Default Got a K/N FIPK

Finally got a cold air intake for my Denali. I had bought some APC carbon fiber lenses from a local truck accessory place, and they leaked. Long story short, I had 3 sets and all 3 leaked. So I got pissed and just put them back in the box and forgot about it and took it as a loss. A friend of mine just got a job as general manager there, so I went in and they gave me $250 instore credit, so I opted for the K/N intake system. We'll see how it does, apparently it does pretty well from what I've read on here. I will put it on tonite, I also got some 04 Chevy tails coming for my truck....cold air intake + 04 tails.....I be pimpin soon! haha...

I think you will be happy with it. I have a similar setup with the Airaid intake tube, K&N conical filter and a eBay heat shield. I'm quite happy with mine.

Installed, big improvement. I am happy with it. I had to trim the fan shroud just a bit, but other than that smooth sailing. Now I need some Dynatech LT's

i have heard about the trimming of the shroud before but no big deal cool to hear that you like it can you tell any difference in it (like pedal differences or something i know it is not really gonna give you any real horsepower) like gas mileage and such

Big difference from a dead stop. Just pulls stronger all the way up. I like it a lot.
