Picked up a used black UPD intake that's in really good shape for $100
. Feels like it really helps on the high end, seems to pull harder above 4K rpm's. On the old stop watch, my 0-60 time stayed the same as with the OEM air box and lid, and with a DJ motorsports intake tube. Lately my truck has been doing 0-60 in the 6.2-6.3 range and 0-90 in about 14 flat, last two 0-90's have been 14.00 & 14.01. Now, I said before that I don't think my speedo is accurate at high speeds, it reads about 1.5 mphs fast. When I'm at the track, my speedo is at 94 when I cross the finish line and my time slip say 92-93, any way. Tonight my 0-60 & 0-90 (I time the same run) was 0-60 in 6.33 and 0-90 in 13.71, seems like the UPD knocked .3 seconds off my 0-90 run and it definitly pulls harder in the upper rpm's with no loss on the low end. Overall, I'm pleased.
