Default Going with E fans what do I need to do?

Hi everyone. I want to get the clutch fan off my truck and go with e fans. I've looked on ebay and a few other sites. so far this is the one I like the best
http://www.jegs.com/i/Derale/259/165...rentProductId=

will this even work on my truck? can I use something like this or do I need to find an 05 and newer fan and use the factory harness and go see my tuner? I never had to do this on my last truck as it was an 05. any help or web sites would be greatly apreciated.

Most people I've read about opt to use ls1 firebird/camaro fans from ebay or a salvage yard on that year model truck. A sponsor (trick performance, i think) offers a set for $260 that have dual fans and an aluminum shroud made for your specific radiator. You can get a fan harness from blackbear or Nelson performance that makes the fans plug & play if your PCM is tuned for electric fans.

Yes, LS1 car fans will work, I used them for about 2 years then upgraded to 05 fans, check your local salvage yards.

The car fans are 28" wide and the 05 fans are 34" wide.
