Ok well im sold on doin the rear first. Now i just need to pick some gears. I do mostly around town driving. Who thinks 390s, and who thinks 410s. For the speedo problem that someone listed above no biggie cause i have a nelson tune on the way. Also, waht will i pick up in the quarter with either gear?

Im pretty mechanically inclided, but there are a few things I dont mess with
1. Trannies, although im about to attempt my corvette servo install myself.
2. Rear ends. THere is to much measurment and **** there.

I'd say gear selection depends on future plans....for example, if you decide to go with Nitrous or Forced Induction you don't really need as much gear as if you were to stay NA

Well the next perf mod would be nitrous after the gears. I dont plan to do any superchargers or turbos to this truck, maybe my next one. So I guess you would say the 390 would be best if i was gonna do Nitrous
